Offbrain Research, LLC (“Offbrain”) operates offbrain.ai, a governed research workspace. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the controls you have.
Information we collect
- Account data. Name, email, and authentication details, handled through our identity provider when you create or sign in to a workspace.
- Research data.Study briefs, interview recordings, transcripts, quotes, and the consent state attached to each participant’s contribution.
- Usage data. Standard logs such as device, browser, and pages visited, used to keep the service secure and reliable.
How we use it
We use information to provide the workspace, run and govern research studies, process creator payments, maintain evidence trails, and meet legal and security obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Consent and the evidence trail
Research contributions are tied to a recorded consent state. Participants are shown how their words and recordings may be used before they take part, and that context stays attached to the data throughout a study.
Service providers
We rely on trusted vendors for authentication, data storage, hosting, and payments. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards and only for the purposes above.
Data retention
We keep personal and research data for as long as needed to deliver the service and satisfy legal, accounting, and reporting requirements, then delete or anonymize it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@offbrain.ai.
